A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Senior Buyer at MKS Instruments, you will be a trustful partner for different MKS sites in EMEA to maintain and improve company’s collaboration with its suppliers. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: - Communicate regularly with and manage the supply base to avoid and resolve any delivery, quality, or pricing issues. - Proactively drive the supply chain to supply and exceed our production floor’s needs and eliminate any interruptions. - Capable to manage multiple projects and complete daily/weekly/monthly purchasing goals and metrics. - Serve as the focal point for escalation of all supplier relationship issues for the suppliers under your responsibility. - Maintain supplier status relating to scorecards, business drivers and developmental needs (where applicable). - Maintain price tables and/or manage requisitions for pricing related to category contracts/negotiations. - Travel to suppliers and other MKS facilities 10%-20% of the time or as required for this position.
