Description General Position Description: Provides leadership and ensures safety, welfare and the education of each child. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Conducts Department of Health Services, Office of Child Care Licensure compliance training and assists in monitoring for all classrooms. - Assists the Director in completing reports to funders, including Early Head Start/Head Start, the Department of Economic Security, and Quality First. - Assists in self-regulation & responsibility in children, intervening as needed to guide children in settling disputes/differences and to ensure safety. - Supports families’ and children’s full involvement and participation in the program. - Assists the Director in maintaining quality programming related to NAEYC standards for accreditation. - Assists the Director in ensuring compliance with Early Head Start Performance Standards. - Assists in monitoring classrooms for compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. - Substitutes for the Director as supervisor onsite when needed. - Acts as the Kitchen Manager for the center, including generating food orders. - Quality First scholarship reporting. - Assist in monitoring H...
