Job Title Controls Product Engineer Job Description: P OSTION SUMMARY: Vanderlande’s Technology Department is responsible for the design, specification and commissioning of material handling systems for our customers. In this position you will work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative customer-focused environment to determine and translate customer needs into simple and effective design solutions, provide accurate time estimates, produce manufacturing and assembly drawings, manag e documentation, and create BOMs . As Software Developer (PLC) you will design, develop and test our PLC operating systems (Siemens TIA Portal & Allen Bradley STUDIO 5000 ). You will draw up the requirements for the systems, and develop efficient and effective solutions together with the multidisciplinary project team. In addition, you will analyze risks, solve problems and help to make improvements. These products will be used as building blocks by the Engineering department, who will subsequently integrate them into systems for our worldwide clients.
