Position: Purchasing Clerk Location: Hotel at the University of Maryland Department: Food and Beverage Reports To: Executive Steward Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (experience-based compensation) Status: Full-time Position Summary: The Purchasing Clerk plays an integral role in supporting the hotel's daily operations, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage procurement and inventory management. This position is responsible for sourcing quality products, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and ensuring the accurate and efficient receiving and distribution of all hotel deliveries. As a key partner to the culinary and operations teams, this role helps drive consistency, cost control, and overall operational excellence.
