Job Title: CNC Set-Up Machinist Shift: 1st Shift: 5:00AM-3:30PM Mon-Thurs Mandatory OT on Fridays when needed Wage: $28-35 per hour (based off knowledge and experience) Job Summary: - We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Set-Up Machinist to join our casting machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis), with a strong understanding of machining iron castings. This role involves reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tooling, setting up machines, and ensuring parts meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Set up CNC machines (including tooling, fixtures, and program offsets) for production runs on iron cast components. - Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine set-up requirements. - Inspect initial run pieces and perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). - Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy. - Work with Quality Control and Engineering teams to resolve machining or set-up issues. - Ensure machines are properly maintained and report any me...
