Job description

Play a vital role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals as a Clinical Placement Coordinator . In this position, you’ll support Health Professions and Nursing programs by coordinating clinical placements and ensuring students are fully prepared for hands-on learning experiences in healthcare settings. You’ll manage the onboarding process for students, scheduling and facilitating orientations, trainings, and clinical clearances. You’ll track and maintain accurate student records, ensuring all requirements - such as immunizations, certifications, and background checks - are completed on time and meet compliance standards. Working closely with faculty, students, and clinical partners, you’ll communicate updates, resolve issues, and support a smooth placement process. You’ll also help maintain relationships with hospitals and healthcare agencies, assist with site visits, track contracts, and contribute to outreach, reporting, and long-term planning efforts.
