Full Time (80 Hours/Biweekly) Shift: Days (8-1630): Monday - Friday: No regular weekends or holidays: On-call time required: General Summary: Manages and coordinates daily inpatient or outpatient activities to ensure quality patient care, cost effectiveness and customer service. Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory standards Essential Functions: - Evaluates and recommends treatment and reporting methods for the department. - Consults with medical, nursing and administrative staff on a regular basis to coordinate patient care. - Monitors financial and clinical performance indicators. Acts or recommends action to improve performance in deficient areas. - Assists the director of pulmonary with strategic planning for the respective entity (inpatient or outpatient). Acts or recommends action for implementation of goals. - Identifies patient/client needs and develops quality programs to meet those needs. Ensures delivery of quality services for patients. - Ensures that appropriate standards and practices are developed and met.
