Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Neonatology - ( 2601702 ) Description Minimum Qualifications: - Master of Science in Nursing or higher - Current valid license as registered nurse in the state of Texas - Current NNP-BC certification from the National Certification Corp (NCC) Board of Nurse Examiners - Full authorization to practice by the Texas Board of Nursing - AHA/AAP hospital-based provider for Neonatal Resuscitation Program Job Summary: Provides advanced practice health care services to high-risk newborns and infants who need intensive medical attention due to low birth weights, prematurity, infections, congenital anomalies, or other health conditions; as well as documentation of services, collaborates with colleagues and clinical director, supervises assigned support staff, participates in quality assurance activities, and demonstrates a commitment to quality health care.
