RMC is hiring a SOC Analyst to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA. The SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents within a Department of Defense (DoD) network environment. This role supports the protection of classified and unclassified systems by leveraging advanced security tools, threat intelligence, and established DoD cybersecurity frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity and potential threats - Analyze security alerts, logs, and network traffic to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) - Perform incident triage, investigation, and escalation in accordance with established procedures - Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts - Document incidents, findings, and actions in accord...
