We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of Flight Safety & System Safety Engineer (m/f/d).: - Perform and manage system and spacecraft-level safety assessments in accordance with ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178C or other applicable standards (EASA CS, MIL-STDs, etc.) - Develop and maintain functional hazard assessments (FHA), Preliminary and System Safety Assessments (PSSA / SSA), FMEA / FMECA and Fault Tree Analysis - Derive and allocate safety requirements to system, hardware and software - Derive safety analysis roadmap for the development of a two-stage hypersonic system - Support certification and compliance activities in exchange with aerospace authorities (EASA, LBA, ESA…) - Interface with systems engineering, flight control, avionics, structure and hardware and software teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements - Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related technical field - Solid experience with s...
