Position Title: Pharmacy Intern PRN Department: Pharmacy Job Description: General Description : Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager, the retail pharmacy intern is responsible for performing tasks involved in the preparation and distribution of medications checked by a licensed Pharmacist while under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. - Highly detail oriented and well organized. - Help maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate clearly with pharmacy staff. - Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, including attendance and phone etiquette. - Responsible for reporting safety issues and errors in a timely manner to a supervisor. - Assist the pharmacist on duty with tasks necessary for the operation of the pharmacy.
