This is a one-year role that is a clinically active position with patient care and direct teaching responsibilities comprising over half of the work week. The unique features of this position are: 1) the way in which resident and student education is heavily tied to patient care in a longitudinal fashion, and 2) the opportunities for leadership and advocacy on multiple levels. This position has been designed to enhance independent teaching for residents and medical students, provide regular patient care opportunities, and offer protected time and mentorship for scholarship.
