Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Obstetrician-Gynecologist OR a Family Medicine Obstetrician to join our team in beautiful Jackson, CA. OBGYN POSITION: Sutter Amador OB/GYN presents an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist to join a supportive, community-focused practice in the scenic Sierra Foothills. This is a primarily OB-focused role serving an underserved patient population. The practice is based at a 53-bed rural hospital with minimal subspecialty support —no NICU, Urology, or Maternal-Fetal Medicine on-site—though referral options are available in our nearby tertiary care centers. The hospital is known for its exceptional labor and delivery nursing staff and outstanding patient feedback regarding the compassionate, high-quality care provided. The practice averages 20–25 deliveries per month , with low acuity and a strong collaborative team environment .
