About the Role Reporting to the Sr. Credit and Collections Manager, the Sr. Credit and Collections Specialist will be an integral member of our accounting team. This role partners cross-functionally to streamline processes that support the accounting function, with direct ownership of cash applications, collections, portal invoicing, and credit reviews. We're looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages competing priorities with ease, and brings the experience needed to contribute immediately to accounting close, invoicing, and collections processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do: - Own major areas of the accounting function, including cash applications, collections, portal invoicing, and credit reviews - Process customer invoices on a daily basis - Manage customer correspondence, inquiries, and escalations - Resolve payment discrepancies and post accounts receivable payments - Process customer refunds - Partner with operations to ensure accurate data entry in the sales order system - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including acco...
