Overview CVP is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team in providing our Nation's Veterans with nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging services at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center), located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. This is a full-time, on-site position. Work schedules include weekday coverage (including holidays), with Day shifts 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 7:00 am to 3:30pm. Previous VA experience is preferred. Responsibilities: - Independently operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scanner equipment to perform a variety of complex nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging exams, following strict nuclear medicine safety practices established by national standards and VALBHS policies and procedures. - Operate computerized nuclear medicine and PET/CT camera imaging systems and other specialized equipment to perform clinical diagnostic examinations and procedures utilizing calibrated radio tracers and radiopharmaceuticals, including PET and PET/CT, general and cardiac studies producing high quality nuclear medicine static, dynamic, and Single Photon Emission Computerized Tomography (SPECT) imaging. - Perform complex clinical diagnostic...
