Responsibilities include performing routine lawn and landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming, mulching, weeding flower beds, and keeping sidewalks, parking lots, and roadways clean across the hospital campus and associated buildings. The role also includes completing minor corrective maintenance work orders and ensuring preventive maintenance tasks are finished in a timely and efficient manner to meet established deadlines. Additional duties involve daily inspection and upkeep of grounds equipment, including blade sharpening and scheduled oil changes, as well as monitoring and managing vehicle fuels, oils, fluids, and coolants to prevent service disruptions.
