We are currently recruiting for a HGV Mechanic to join our transport division, located at our Heywood facility. Shift Pattern: Working 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 - 18:00 Rate of Pay: £18.61 per hour, plus a shift allowance of £40.00 per week Duties & Responsibilities: Diagnose faults and carry out repairs. Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards. Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service. Repairing defects. General basic garage duties. Dealing with breakdowns nationwide. What we are looking for: Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS. Someone who holds a HGV Class 1 License. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
