Job description

Description The Registration Authority Officer manages registration operations for DOE/NNSA classified networks according to the Registration Practice Statement (RPS). Key duties include: - Enforcing PKI policies and procedures - Handling token distribution - Issuing certificates - User registration - Hardware lifecycle management - Training trusted roles Additional responsibilities cover: RA Officers, designated as trusted roles, specifically approve System and Device certificates. They also support agency Trusted Agents and collaborate with PKI staff, including System Administrators and Security Auditors. A notification to prospective applicants that reviews, and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4, will be conducted by the employer and a background investigation by the Federal government may be required to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and that subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
