Project Manager (Lancaster, PA) Job description: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Project Manager will plan, organize and direct engineering activities to optimize hydropower facilities throughout Pennsylvania. Responsibilities: - Manage the design, specification, cost, construction and commissioning of capital improvement projects. - Prepare tendering documents, review and comment on bid packages to ensure design adequacy and constructability. - Assist in capital and maintenance budget preparation. Plan and prioritize budgeted work for implementation. - Provide engineering support to operational staff to improve reliability and performance. - Manage internal and external engineering resources to develop documents needed for construction and permitting. - Provide field inspection of all work in place to ensure that work performed is in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements and applicable codes. - Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction meetings with multiple contractors. - Recommend corrective courses of action to management as issues arise. - Apply Brookfield Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures to all proj...
