R&D Team Lead

Summary Guardsquare is looking for Team Leads to join us in our Leuven office and lead one of our Leuven based iXGuard (C++/LLVM) or DexGuard (Java) teams. In this role you will be responsible for a team of about 5 to 7 software engineers working within an agile software development environment. The ideal candidate started their career technically and has a good understanding of software engineering within a high-tech start/scale-up, and grew into or is now ready for a team lead role. Requirements: - Own the results delivered by your team. You lead day-to-day development; assign tasks, track progress, ensure timely delivery and high quality. - Mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and motivate the team to reach company and personal objectives. - Set coding standards and best practices for maintainable solutions. - Work with product teams to translate business needs into technical specifications. - Implement and enforce testing practices to deliver reliable software. - Encourage new ideas and own engineering processes to drive continuous improvement. - Represent Guardsquare’s R&D values, its products and its culture. - Masters in computer science with 5+ years of experience, of wh...
