Job Summary The Maintenance Technician III performs advanced plumbing maintenance and repairs to university facilities and assists with repairs and maintenance in other trade areas, including electrical as needed. Job Description: Typical duties include but are not limited to: - Performs complex repairs to buildings, structures and equipment requiring plumbing skills and expertise. - Inspects, operates, or tests machinery and equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. - Assists with the development of preventative maintenance guidelines. - Provides training and guidance to others in areas of skill. - Assists with routine and preventative repairs and general maintenance, including repairing water leaks, installing plumbing fixtures, installing basic electrical devices, and performing other maintenance tasks as needed. - Assists with maintenance projects such as inventory ma...
