Job Summary: Reporting to the Controller, the Asst. Controller will need to have good accounting, controllership and financial reporting experience. The successful candidate will manage the financial accounting, GAAP and tax reporting and internal controls for open-ended, alternative investment funds. The Asst. Controller will manage multiple responsibilities across the team including: Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Provide oversight over Fund Administration team and handle day to day accounting matters such as cash management, accounts payable/receivable, monthly general ledger reconciliation, shareholder capital activity, incentive and management fees. - Maintain internal control procedures and systems resulting in Sarbanes Oxley Compliance - Provide controllership functions in order to ensure finances are managed according to policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles - Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and reporting requirements - Oversee the audit and quarterly review process, including administratively managing audit requests and questions - Support the executive team by cons...
