Description Position Overview: The Engineering Manager – Key Technology and Testing leads a team of engineering subject matter experts for the research and development of highly technical and innovative fitness product solutions. The scope of work encompasses advanced development of new products, product and component design analysis, and design and creation of specialized test machinery and equipment. Responsibilities: Personnel: · Assists VP of R&D in attracting and hiring top engineering talent · Provides work direction to lower level engineers, trains and mentors staff in product development processes · Coaches engineers to achieve 100% of their KPI’s KT Engineering: · Lead a team of subject matter experts on multiple projects through Key Technology process for development of highly technical and innovative solutions · Support new product development teams with detailed mechanical and key component design review and analysis · Partnership with system, electrical, software, and related engineering functions on failure and risk analysis · Product specification review and analysis Test Engineering: · Development of test standards and procedures · Design and hands-on creation of te...
