Through support from the Rural Health Transformation Program the Bridging the Digital Divide Program at Oak Hill’s Integrated Center will work to close the digital divide that currently exists for aging adults and adults with disabilities located in rural communities in northwestern Connecticut by connecting them to appropriate resources and technology. The Digital Divide Coordinator (DDC) will be responsible for performing community outreach and conducting training to support the targeted population. The DDC will join a multidisciplinary team to collaboratively enhance community awareness and knowledge of standard technology and assistive technology in ways that align with best practices.
