General Summary The Group Leader will train and lead team members on assigned projects and manage daily production activities, as well as, providing team members with work standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The above typical duties are characteristic of this job and demonstrate a level of difficulty and are not intended to list or limit the duties that may be required or assigned to a team member in this classification. - Monitor Safety, Quality, Cost and Productivity with daily improvement activities - Maintain compliance with TS/16949 and ISO14000 implementation goals - Direct multiple team leaders and their respective zones - Perform line input and other administrative tasks as required - Prevent defects from passing to the next work process driving first-time quality in station - Motivate, train, and develop Team Leader/Members to effectively perform their jobs utilizing standard methods and procedures - Ensure Team Members perform their job responsibilities and empower them to continuously improve their work by managing and eliminating constraints.
