Participant Care Assistant, full-time Department: Participant Care: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Jackson, MI: Reporting To: Treshia Swager: Compensation: $16.98 - $17.51 / hour Description: Schedule : Full Time | 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm | every 4th weekend Department: Thome PACE | Jackson, MI Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel between Jackson, Lenawee and Hillsdale counties providing Home Based Care. The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role is an excellent entry-level opportunity to begin a career in healthcare. In this position, you will be working both in our day center and traveling to participant homes. PCAs assist participants with daily living activities and healthcare needs, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of care settings. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, show empathy and compassion, and work well with healthcare teams while following care plans.
