RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides technical support of routine operations, project work, major maintenance or construction support, and emergency response to ensure worker safety throughout the planning and execution phases of work. Supports development, maintenance, and execution of safety programs for implementation in the field to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conformance to MPC corporate standards. Conducts auditing on safety programs to verify compliance and conformance with regulatory and MPC standards. This includes analyzing safety performance data to identify and report trends, along with proposing recommendations to address areas of concern. Leads and supports investigations for near-misses, incidents, and injuries to identify root causes and recommendations to prevent future incidents.
