Description: - Reports to : Lead Technologist/Executive Director - Department : TSJI Imaging Department - Location : Tower St. John’s Imaging- Santa Monica - FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt - Supervises Others: No - Revision Date : March 2025 Position Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiologic and CT exams in a safe and efficient manner under the direction of a radiologist that prioritizes patient safety and information security. Essential Duties Responsibilities: - Demonstrates behaviors that reflect Tower’s core values of quality, safety, teamwork, accountability, integrity, and respect. - Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department protocols. - Identifies patient with two identifiers before performing exam. - Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure. - Explains procedures and answers any questions patients may have. - Demonstrates ability to start peripheral IV and maintain access. - Demonstrates knowledge of contrast limitations and exceptions. - Maintains utmost confidentiality in handling company and sensitive patient information.
