Job Description The Starz Digital Platform team has an opening for a software development intern. The intern will work with many aspects of a streaming service, such as encryption/security, packaging/transcoding, and licensing/delivery. They will collaborate with other back-end developers, as well as QA, cloud engineering, and front-end development teams. Successful applicants will have introductory knowledge of how video streaming services operate and a strong desire to expand this knowledge. The intern will learn how professional developers build and maintain applications for streaming video and contribute to the team’s mission to deliver video to Starz customers. The successful candidate will join a team of senior technologists who are dedicated to utilizing the right technologies for a large-scale, consumer-facing system.
