Job Description Title: Supplier Quality Technician Plant – 2nd Shift Pioneer the next generation of innovation. Training will occur Monday through Friday on 1st shift, 6am to 4:30pm for up to 2 months depending on your hire date. The actual 2nd shift hours will be 7:30pm to 6am. You must be available for the initial 1st shift training schedule and the 2nd shift work schedule when it begins after the training period. Key Accountabilities: - Maintains Supplier QFL (Quality Feedback Loop) issues and creates notifications with pictures of the rejected part and communicates issues with suppliers in a timely manner - Oversees parts in salvage area and begins the returns process to suppliers - Initiates sort activity and performs dimensional /visual checks on non-conforming material using calipers, dial indicators, height gages, etc. - Boroscopes engine critical components, performs dye penetrant test and scopes sealing surfaces for surface defects with proper documentation using PPT (Power Point Presentations). - A...
