Imaging Aide - Full Time Shift: 9:30am - 6:00pm: Job Description: PATIENT POPULATION: The patient population served can be all patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Administrative Director of Imaging and Physical Therapy, Imaging Director, or their designee, the Imaging Aide will provide basic clinical and non-clinical support to the MRI staff. Primary duties consist of patient transport to and from specified areas in radiology (i.e.: CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine), interaction with patients following AIDET guidelines, assisting technologists with patient care duties and use of Meditech system. May be assigned to work in multiple Imaging Modalities and accepts reassignments and additional duties, when necessary in a flexible and positive manner. Adherence to radiation safety principals as well as MRI safety training is required.
