Position Title: HVAC Technician - Facilities Maintenance - Days Department: Facilities Engineering Job Description: General Description: Under minimal supervision, implements unit specific and facility-wide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) preventative maintenance and repair solutions that enhance and support operational and business performance. Essential Responsibilities: Researches, designs, and implements HVAC preventative maintenance and repair solutions that enhance and support operational and business performance. Ensures the conditioning of the hospital spaces are appropriate for the level of care and use associated with the space and provides an environment conducive to healing for our patients. Ensures proper pressure relationships, temperature, humidity, and filtration is provided for high acuity care areas. Maintains, repairs, and installs equipment used to improve indoor air quality such as Ultraviolet (UV) lighting in air handlers. Completes preventative maintenance tasks on time to ensure compliance with the hospital’s utility maintenance program.
