Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist

Job description

This position coordinates the rehabilitation of the post cardiac event, CABG, and high-risk patients. Implements secondary prevention strategies to include exercise and patient education and risk reduction. Provides rehabilitative services for postcardiac, pulmonary, and patients with multiple risk factors. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health. Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) of the following required: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field Associates in Respiratory Therapy: CEP or CCRP obtained within one (1) year of hire required. Current HealthCare Provider CPR and AED required. ACLS certification preferred. Prior healthcare experience preferred. Certification in personal training, health and wellness coaching, and/or group fitness instruction preferred.
