Classification Title: Assistant Director of Facilities Operations Classification Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and four years of experience. Job Description: The Assistant Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for the oversight, and administration of building maintenance, renovations, construction, security, communications, property and space management, and emergency preparedness for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS). This position serves as the primary liaison between the college and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with the college’s operational and strategic goals. The Assistant Director leads the development and implementation of policies, project management systems, and compliance initiatives to maintain and improve facilities across the college.
