Description FLSA Classification : Nonexempt: Reports to : Tennis Director: Job Description: Summary/objective: Responsible for assisting with junior development and tennis youth programming. Essential functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. - Provide competent tennis instruction for all groups and levels of players - Supervise and interact with children to promote educationally and developmentally-stimulating programs and activities - Assist with junior development of competitive players and 10 and under tennis - Assist the Director with all club events, tournaments and USTA matches - Assist with tennis instruction for summer camp and junior programming - General administrative assistance as required Physical demands: - Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift - Must be able to physically respond in a quick manner in the event of an emergency - Must be able to fully participate in all indoor and outdoor activities - Must be able to work professionally and calmly in an environment which may have heightened noise and stress - Must be able to work in warm, humid, rainy...
