Job Description: The Cooper Standard Livonia, MI Manufacturing Plant is looking to hire a Service Parts Operator. The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 4:30PM & Saturday 6:00AM - 2:00PM Position Summary: Fabricates service parts ensuring that the end product conforms to requirements identified on the work order, customer blueprint and/or specifications. Primary Responsibilities: - Works with Team Leader and Business Unit Managers to gain experience on all fabricating processes used to produce service parts. - Operate machinery in a safe, productive and quality manner ensuring parts are built to the manufacturing plans. - Maintains accurate records of all time and expenses incurred in the fabrication of each service order. - Performs required inspections of conformity according to our work instructions and BTO processes and immediately notifies Team Leader or Business Unit Managers of any concerns or discrepancies. - Processes orders and set up jobs with minimal supervision. - Must operate in a manner that reinforces, supports, and is consistent with the Cooper Standard Code of Conduct. - Ensures 6S, housekeeping and health and safety standards...
