Description We are looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner(WHNP) or Certified Nurse Midwife(CNM) who speaks Spanish and English. The Women’s Health NP or CNM provides outpatient gynecologic care across the lifespan, excluding obstetrics. This role focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and management of gynecologic conditions while delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. This position will work in Women's Health in the Specialty Clinic. Position available: Registry (as needed),1PM-5PM, 1 day per week. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Perform comprehensive gynecologic assessments, including annual well-woman exams, pelvic exams, breast exams, and cervical cancer screening (Pap/HPV testing) · Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions, including abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause/perimenopause, vaginitis, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and pelvic pain · Provide contraceptive counseling and management, including prescribing and monitoring appropriate birth control methods · Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatment plans within scope of practice and in accordance with Illinois APRN regulations · Deliver patien...
