Description The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Urology, is searching for full-time Clinical Associates for one or two-year renewable terms. Appointees will have inpatient and outpatient responsibilities to support and complement the faculty in Urology at the Hyde Park location and affiliated sites depending on the department’s needs. Clinical duties include direct patient care through office visits, ambulatory procedures, state-of-the-art surgery, and call. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. The Section of Urology excels in robotic and laparoscopic treatments for both cancerous and non-cancerous urologic conditions, with national expertise in bladder cancer, prostate issues, reconstructive surgery, kidney stones, and pediatric urology.
