Psychiatrist – General Adult + Faculty 📍 Meritus Medical Center | Hagerstown, MD 💰 $350,000 Salary + $50,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to $50,000 Relocation Position Highlights: - $350K base salary - $50K sign-on bonus - Up to $50K relocation assistance - Monday–Friday schedule (8 AM – 4 PM) - Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and consult psychiatry - Dedicated faculty time (0.1 FTE) for teaching - Growing psychiatry residency program - Comprehensive benefits including CME, malpractice, retirement, and PTO Clinical Practice: This role provides a varied psychiatry practice across multiple care settings: Inpatient & Acute Services - 12-bed Adult Acute Psychiatry Unit (voluntary & involuntary) - 6-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit for substance use withdrawal and stabilization - Consult-Liaison Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine consults - Psychiatric ED consult service with dedicated behavioral health social workers Outpatient Services: - Behavioral Health Urgent Care - Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) - Therapy services with 10 FTE licensed mental health clinicians - Telehealth psychiatry Patient Population: Treat adults with a full spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including: Care commonly in...
