Evening - 12 Hour (United States of America) Assist surgeons with case procedures: This is a Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley job. A Brief Overview: The Surgical Technologist works under the direct supervision of the RN, to perform a variety of duties in the operation room to assist the surgical team, creating and maintain a sterile field and functions as a member of the sterile team. Locations: Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley What you will do: - Establishes a sterile field including instruments, and supplies required for specific operations. - Always follows aseptic techniques when opening sterile supplies and setting up procedures. - Assists in draping of patient and establishment of sterile field. - Works with OR team to prepare and pass instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies needed in the operative procedures and maintains a correct count. - Prepares and anticipates additional instrumentation, equipment and supplies for usage during the procedure - Measures and passes medications, hemostatic age...
