The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and responsible Mechanic to join our team specializing in floor cleaning equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial and industrial janitorial cleaning machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely at the warehouse or at client sites. The Role: Resource Management: - Work closely with the Warehouse and Procurement Teams - Maintain accurate service and repair records. - Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of various mechanical & electrical issues on janitorial cleaning equipment such as Walk Behind/Ride On Auto Scrubbers, Propane/Electric Burnishers, Industrial Sweepers, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Carpet - Extractors, Swing Machines, Golf Carts, etc. - Keep work area organized, safe, and clean. - Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely equipment turnaround. - Ability to lift 50+ lbs on an regular basis. - Regular travel between company sites and client locations is required; a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license...
