Procurement Associate

Job description

Qualifications: - The procurement of inventory for all Sales Markets. - Prior Procurement/Purchasing experience required. - Analyze and evaluate suggested order needs from our Supply Chain Planning software and confirm accuracy of order recommendations. - Update forecasts based on new Programs and/or Product Placements. - Analyze lead times for both Domestic and Imported products and make necessary adjustments. - Maintain levels of inventory that maximize turns and limits overstock. - Enter/Approve Purchase Orders for the procurement of inventory. - Communicate with supplier ordering departments to ensure receipt and accuracy of PO's - Work with our suppliers & carriers to ensure consolidated loads are running on schedule - Responsible for building orders based on supplier or carrier requirements. - Communicate with Trade Marketing and all sales teams on arrivals of PO's - Responsible for New Item setup and maintenance. - Responsible for maintaining supplier product costs in our host system and informing Trade Marketing of product increases. - Other duties assigned - High school diploma required. - College Degree preferred. - Procurement/Purchasing experience required. - Above aver...
