Personnel Security Specialist II

Job description

Summary: The Personnel Security Specialist II executes elements of the personnel security program, enforces security policies and procedures in compliance with 32 CFR PART 117 National Industrial Security Operations Procedures Manual (NISPOM) and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD). This role is responsible for the oversight of data entry and integrity in Security Information Management System (SIMS) database. Utilizes Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and other databases and tracking systems to perform a variety of personnel security actions. Participates in preparing for security reviews conducted by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other US Government agencies. Provides personnel security guidance to IDA HQ, SAC and STPI staff.
