Summer Program Supervisor

Job description

Provides leadership and supervision of youth in the completion of assigned tasks and activities. Part-Time approx. 20 hours/week: May 25 - August 7: $15-19/hour DOE MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Provides safe and effective services Adheres to policies related to safety and boundaries with service recipients. Attends safety and abuse risk management training as assigned. Adheres to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising service recipients. Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations. Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements. Provides leadership and supervision of youth Trains and supervises youth in a variety of activities, including work-related, recreational, and academic that develop life skills. Ensures youth safety by encouraging proper use of tools and appropriate peer relations; reports self-harm concerns. Assesses expectations of site and conducts appropriate training for youth. Evaluates and reports youth progress; meets and communicates with appropriate personnel regarding youth progress. Attends training to improve knowledge and implement the Youth Care Program.
