Assistant Swim Coach Responsibilities Location: River Place Country Club (Austin, TX) Position Type: Seasonal / Part-time (often spring–summer) Position Summary The Assistant Swim Coach supports the Head Coach in organizing and leading swim team practices, developing swimmers’ skills, and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment for athletes of all levels. Key Responsibilities - Assist in planning and conducting daily swim practices for various age groups and skill levels - Provide stroke instruction, technique correction, and endurance training - Help supervise swimmers to always ensure safety at all times - Support meet preparation, including lineups, warm-ups, and event coordination - Encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude among swimmers - Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff - Assist with team e...
