ABOUT THE ROLE: The primary purpose of the Diesel Mechanic is to service, inspect and repair Qube mobile machinery and ancillary equipment (owned, partially owned, hired and/or leased to Qube). Specific Responsibilities: - Carry out mechanical repairs and workshop duties to a high standard - Maintain strong productivity and ensure work is completed on time - Assist in training and or supervise Apprentices as required - Keep the workshop clean and tidy - Obtain Work Orders before commencing any work and follow any other necessary procedures - Accurately complete work orders and repair documentation - Identify required parts and communicate major part needs to the Supervisor to avoid delays - Follow safe work procedures, including SLAM and lock‑out/tag‑out requirements - Adhere to Qube safety standards, SWIs, and all site and road safety rules - Report any incidents or hazards immediately Safety, Health & Environment: - Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures and take reasonable care for your own safety and that of others - Use required PPE at all times and ensure safe operation of tools and equipment - Report hazards, incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immedi...
