Wash Bay Attendant

Job description

Ensure external cleanliness of all GFL trucks and other equipment as needed in a safe and efficient manner. Requirements: - Clean trucks and equipment using pressure washer in truck bay area. - Drive trucks from parking spot to wash bay and back in order to facilitate washing - Perform administrative duties relating to record keeping of work performed. - Keep truck wash area clean. - Pick-up parts for mechanics and assist around the shop area - Raise cab/body of truck - Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management. - High school diploma or GED desired but not required. - One (1) to three (3) months’ related experience desired, but not required. - Valid driver’s license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to read, write and communicate with others. - Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision.
