Description SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The purpose of this position is to schedule, direct, and organize the daily duties and activities of warehouse operators and coordinate with other departments. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO : - Prepare daily/weekly schedules and direct daily activities for safe and efficient warehouse operations. - Supervise a team of warehouse employees, including hiring, directing, training, and managing performance including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. - Supervise the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of the warehouse. - Ensure all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules. - Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties. - Monitor inventory for accuracy of both physical count and value. - Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment. - Ensure employees adhere to corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment. - Assist Manager...
