Location New York, New York Shift: Day (United States of America) Description: Plant Mechanic The Plant Mechanic performs skilled maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment. Essential Job Duties include maintenance and repairs on valves, pumps, fans, motors, boilers, chillers and other plant equipment. Performs maintenance, repairs and calibrations on control system equipment. Performs inspection rounds on equipment and records system readings such as flow, pressures and temperatures. Demonstrates leadership and versatility in the application and coordination of technical workflow. Maintains Mechanical Rooms. Maintains effective communications with team members, Floor Mechanics and Supervisors to ensure prompt response to requests for repairs. This is a full time day shift position, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/ Wiell Cornell Medical Center.
