SENIOR PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for estimating and takeoffs of plumbing, HVAC including sheet metal and/or fire protection projects. The individual should have a good understanding of all aspects of estimating for mechanical contracting and be able to communicate effectively with contractors, designers, owners, and job-site personnel, while representing TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Must be able to understand the design intent and fill in missing information to complete an estimate. A Estimator III may be required to finalize project bid submission on behalf and under the direction of the VP of Business Development, Design, & Estimating. Responsibilities and Duties: - Reading and understanding project specifications and drawings. - Provide projects material takeoffs and pricing. - Attend project site surveys and walks. - Input missing information in the bid documents.
